The Dancing Man Brewery was getting ready to open its doors for the first time, giving the historic Wool House a new purpose. A new site was needed to promote the new venture and celebrate the building’s history.

Project brief:
This wonderful historic building, the old Wool House and its newly given purpose as microbrewery, restaurant and event venue were to form the basis for a new design for the website.
Our brief was to create a design which would marry the history with the traditional craft of the brewery and create a site which would both be informative as well as promotional. One part was to pay respect to the history of the Wool House, allow visitors to find out about the significance of this building. Another part of the site was to promote the micro brewery, share insights from head brewer Aidan about his brewing process and show information about the restaurant and promote events.
design brief
- evolve new image using existing logo and pump clips as foundation
- continue design of pump clips following established style
- design illustrations and graphics to promote the beers
- beer listing to feature labels and clear distinction between regular and special beers
- unique presentaion of beer info, to include description, available containers, brewsheet and ‘beer geek’ feature
What we did:

- designed/produced illustrations and graphics for beer listing
- creation of additional complementary graphics for promotional highlights
- production of style guide, including graphics pack
- layout design for beer listing
- design for layout of single beer page and required details

What our client said:
What can we say? From day one Prisca and her team were there to help guide us with the creation of our website.
Being new business owners we had no idea what we needed or even wanted just some random ideas and weird colour schemes. Prisca was able to filter through all this data and came up with a site that not only reflected our historic building (800 year old wool house) but our business, a micro brewery and quirky restaurant.
Prisca and her team have shown great patience and professionalism with us, especially as our enthusiasm generally manifested itself as a catalogue of disorganised decision making. Every edit and re-edit was taken in their stride and with subtle hints to keep us on track, not only with our design but with branding and marketing. The result: A beautiful, fantastic, user friendly, easily managed website that has enhanced our business and showcased the brewery and the fabulous old building we reside in.
And that’s not all; ongoing support, in the usual patient manner, not only with the website, but also with input for our new ventures. Having recently launched our beer in cans, it was important to carry our branding over from the site to our products and Prisca’s graphics did just that. They are sleak and effective designs which suit our style and site.
Thank you, from the Directors of the Dancing Man.
